A little advice

Hi everyone
Does anyone else have a SWCP that wraps around the light cage?
My big guy has decided that this is most comfy spot and has caused his belly to be red ( like a very pale sunburn)
I have now taken away his heat light so he can't get onto again.
Just wondering if anyone else has had this problem and how have you fixed it?

What temps is your hotspot getting to?
It sounds to me that he's not getting enough heat and is trying to warm up by wrapping around the light cage. If your hotspot is too low, bumping it up should stop him wanting to wrap around the light.

Yeah I agree that he may be a bit cool. Also some more climbing material close to the hot spot might help [emoji1303]

Or a rock under the heat will help too.

Hotspot was sitting at 34. Have changed now to a heat pipe and he is loving it
