Hey all
so im not far off getting a male female pair of snakes male is jag and female is just normal but both are albino hets.
my question is as i am new to breeding when theese gusy are ready what are the different strains i will get in the offspring? Also i have a young albino darwin male what will be the result if i am to breed him with the het albino female?
cheers ben

Normal to het gives you 50/50 Het/Normal (I think?)
Het to Het gives you 25/50/25 albino/het/normal
Albino to het gives you 50/50 albino/het

i think that's how it goes but I'm not 100% new to breeding myself so if anyone can clarify that would be great.

Okay awesome thanks for the info
so in breeding the het albino jag and and het albino normal i will have a 25% chance of getting a albino jag is that right

No. You will have about 12.5%.

The full breakdown looks like this:

12.5% Wild Type
12.5% Jag
25.0% Het. Albino
25.0% Het. Albino Jag
12.5% Albino
12.5% Albino Jag

Keep in mind those are statistical probabilities too. There are no guarantees you will get any
