Any suggestions as to what this one is?

Hi there guys,

I found this little feller a couple of days ago. He was found near Katoomba, and was extremely shy. I am pretty certain about what he is, but would like some other opinions.

Couldn't quite pick this one- until i saw the 'white lip'.

Definately a Copperhead...the white bars on the lips are a giveaway.

so where was it at katoomba,in the bush or in someones garden??

Yeah there everywere up here . I find them out the front of the nursing home i work at seen one ping a skink the other week was amazed at how quick it got it , Lovely looking snakes

Living under the back of a house that backs onto bush. He has a nice little hole under the verandah.

good find,there well mannered ,very pretty snakes

dangerously neurotoxic but pleasant natured most of the time
