Wondering if anyone has done a TESOL course, which one and what did they think of it?
I'm interested to get into TESOL as a private tuition 1:1 situation but the Cert 4 course ranges from $2k to $3k - ridiculous. There are a few non-accredited cheaper courses around, but not sure if they are worth doing and if they are enough to get me knowledge to teach privately 1:1.
I've always enjoyed 'teaching' but my main background has been computer tuition which I've found I can do fairly well, but have come across a few people who's English is not great who have suggested I teach them English, which I'd love to do, I just don't know where to start to help them properly.
