G'day guys,

We found this little guy the other night, about two metres off the ground on a basically vertical rock face. This isn't very typical of them, however they are particularly abundant at the location it was found. The first shot is in-situ, and the second shot is to show how high it was off the ground.

Yeah you see some snakes do strange things at times.
Ive seen adders 1-2 meters up trees before.
 
Sorry Kris, you are definitely correct. Can someone rename this thread to "Not arboreal but a long way off the ground Red-Naped Snake" please?
 
I had one of my Nothern Adders that climbed to about waist height into a shrub about 2 yrs ago. Got a few photos of it, but they turned out crappy. It was an eye opener watching the little girl think she was a GTS. About 6 of us were watching it.
