Are these cabinets ok?

After staring at these cabinets for the past couple of months (had the whole holidays to start on them but of course have been too lazy), i'm wondering if they would be suitable to turn into enclosures for my coastal carpets (1 in each- they are about 1 year old, 70cm or so).
Material wise, are they suitable for enclosures? I think the 1st one is made of melamine or close to it which would be good, not sure wat the 2nd one is made out of, also it is not that wide either.
There were scavenged from council cleanup. Do i have to put a varnish or coat or anything on them to protect them when being cleaned?

by looks they look good but i would seal it with a varnish just to be safe
or you just give them a good clean
but if your worried about your snake getting harmed from the materials just give it a lick yourself see if you get sick lol
