I want to get a new and bigger basking rock for my Varanus gouldii was just wondering what the best natural rock would be the one he/she has at the moment is to smooth and he/she likes to rub against it when shedding I was thinking limestone but didn’t know if that was suitable as in humidity it can have a chemical reaction and as well don’t know how hot it would get under 55 degree bulb can anyone help what does everyone else use

My local Bunnungs has some sandstone pavers and other paver options in their outdoor/garden section. I would start there. There are some nice irregularly shaped ones available.
