Hi all, im trying to get my eastern dwarfs to breed, and i need to stimulate rain, whats your verdict? do the exo terra monsoon systems work or just old hand spraying? whats best and for how long does it need to 'rain' for them...? also how do you deal with the excess water at the bottom of the terrarium?

Could use a simple sprinker system? have the water at the bottom drain into a bucket. have the bucket with a water pump going up into the sprinkler system.

just make sure you keep an eye on it so the pump doent run out of water.

I believe they would be more likely to breed if you simulate the atmosphere during a rainy storm (low pressure). Don't know how that would be done but I think it's more likely to set off their breeding cues

Can you post a pic of your set-up in order to have a better perspective on what advice can be given?
