could a common blue tounge be housed with a shingle back??

IMO you can house them together but you best get a large enclosure.They must have enough room to evade 1 another if need be.If confined together in a small space serious injuries may be sustained as they are both very territorial species.

If you are talking about an out door enclosure, then they would be fine together, if you give them enough room.
