Hi everyone, can anyone help me with my blue tongue skink, right now he/she has a 4ft long tank that isn't very wide and i want tog get him/her a newer better tank. does anyone have any size recommendations?
and maybe some other helpful tips for blue tongues
Right now she/he is around 42-45 cm and is 1 year and a half

I keep most of my bluetongues in tanks that are 125cmX60cmX60cm and that is plenty room for a bluetongue but if you have space you can go bigger, I keep northen eastens western blotched and shinglebacks in those tanks 125x60x60.
 
My two adult easterns are in individual home built plywood tanks 4ft L x 2ft W x 16" tall.

They have a low basking spots and nice deep mixed bedding.

I think a tank for bts 2ft tall is probably a waste of vertical space , unless you have a good ramp for them to climb to get higher than 8 to 12 inches to a basking platform, though I can see advantages to as you can almost get 1.6x the "crawl space" by having two levels for them to utilize.
