Blue tongues in an outdoor enclosure

Very much so Matty! If you have those animals around your area you would have to build a roof to the enclosure or at least some nylon netting.

Cats are buggers for killing blue tongues.

Get yourself an old above ground pool without the liner. The bigger the better of course. Sometimes see them in the freebies or bargaians section of the trading post. Dig it into the ground. You can get netting that they use on fruit trees to put over it. You can use electrical conduit to make the frame.

A wire roof is preferable to using bird netting, as bird netting has the unfortunate effect of entangling and killing birds. If you do use it, make sure you have it fairly taut to minimise the chances of this happening.

if it kills the birds chop em up and feed to the blueys also the wire mesh is good cause it doesnt tear

It's not like you would just drop the mesh on top of the enclosure, if you did so, cats would get up under it so fast it's not funny, ofcourse it would be taut.
