Hey Guys

Quick questions to any bow hunters / shooters here.

Recently my mate purchased a compound bow only 20 days ago.

Anyway today during mid draw the cable which is attached to the bottom cam snapped and it appears to be a fault in the way that the cable was tied.

Any one know of warranty on such matters.

And for the record the bow has never been dry fired.

Regards
Luke

If the bow is brand new it should be covered by warranty, BUT!! depending on how good the dealer is they may say it has been dry fired, dropped, mistreated etc. From memory cables aint that dear you might be able to strike a deal, you buy the cable and they string it up and reset it.

def take it back to the shop under waranty. dont take no for an answer. just brought one myself. what brand was it?

Hey lads,

Yeah its a brand new bow. Its the abbey archery brand of bow, the budget range that they make.

Yeah I will be pissed if they try to say its been dry fired and wont cover it.

Regards
Luke

was going to ask if it was dry fired. take it back t where it was purchased from, im sure they will look after it. when i had my bows i would wind them down for storage so the cable, string, limbs werent left under pressure all the time
