Hi guys,

My beardies are brumating at the moment (of their own accord - they're 2.5 years old) and I'm moving house next week. I'm wondering whether I should start heating them up now before I move or if I am able to move them whilst they are brumating? I'm not sure whether or not it would be detrimental disturbing them for the move whilst they are brumating. :?

Any experienced advice would be appreciated.

Thanks!

Are u moving far? We moved this time last yr - I left my beardies 'til last so I had a lot of time to pull them out of their cages, set up in the new house & pop them back in - they then went back to sleep one by one. I didn't wake them up until I was ready to move them.
From what I understand, u can disturb them no probs while brumating, but if u were to wake them up on a continual basis, it causes health issues then.

Thanks Lollypop, I am moving about half an hour a way, so I'll just move them last thing, along with the snakes.
