Hi all,
What type of wood should I buy from Bunnings so it's non toxic for Spotted Pythons

Cheer, Alex

All depends on the final product that you would like. Any wood is fine to use as long as it's sealed before the animal enters. Melamine is generally most commonly used as it looks good, is pre-sealed except for joints and relatively cheap to purchase. Any unsealed wood such as ply or pine will require a coating of water sealant such as water based polyurethane.

If you have a look in the DIY section I have a post up detailing the steps I took to create a 4 enclosure stack for my snakes.

Cheers, Cameron
