Hi all,
haven't posted on here for a while. working flat out and have a few projects on the side.
So, end of summer last year and i was sunning some of my hatchies in a tub with some mesh over the top. when i returned i gave a quick count and i was one short. bugger. the little blighters heated up enough to get out through the mesh which was quite a way up for him. must've got a boost off a pile up.
Anyway, i thought he was a goner. didn't expect a hatchy to be able to survive the cold Adelaide winter. Or even dodge the local birdlife which there is much of.
But for now he has proved me wrong. i was making my way through the backyard and low and behold, there he was. you little beauty i thought. what do you reckon? here's some shots the first one is where i originally saw him. i saw him bobbing. the next two i followed him into a rose bush. cool hey
