Had a question from a mate of mine wondering can you get chamellion. Lizards in australia. If you can is it a special licence etc or can you just own one

Unfortunately no. They are not a native species and are not legally allowed to be kept in captivity here in Australia.
Only native species bro.

No, they are exotic and as such you cannot keep them privately in Australia.

The closest you can get here is a chameleon gecko Carphodactylus laevis. Quite different though.
