Hi everyone!

Hubby and I went to the Cleland Wildlife Park in the Adelaide Hills today, had a lovely time and here are some pics for your enjoyment!

It's my new camera a Panasonic FZ-50 I thought I would take it out for a trial run.

Naah earthling, it's a taipan that's what hubby thinks he remembers, I didn't look at the plaque, sorry!!
 
i woulda guessed taipan, what species is it in second pics next to the taipan? looks like a morelia but with unfamiliar (to me) markings?
 
looks like a liasis stimsoni (stimsons python or large-blotched python)

thats what i thought at first brad, but the shape of the head looks a lot more triangular, maybe just angle of pic?

yeah had another look, the one on top looks to have a head like a carpet but the bottom one looks more like a stimsons. i guess i was hoping they were oenpelli's or somthing lol.
sorry for going a bit off track here Mertle. great pics by the way.
 
I love the RBBS in the first lot of pics, they are a top looking snake, I love how they flatten their head and neck out like that. Not sure if I have the ----- to keep one though.

That's ok Bredli84, yes they are a pair of Stimsoni lovely pair too, the pic doesn't do then justice due to the glass!! I can
t wait for my girl stimmi to grow up now!! hehehehe
