Our trip up to Sydney started well by finding this beautiful big orange Lowland Copperhead in Gippsland. It allowed us to get quite close before slowly moving off. Unfortunately for some of the photos it stuck its head through a spiderweb

Copper heads would HAVE to be my favourite Elapid, they are so overlooked in beauty in this hobby I believe.
Also, that 3rd picture is fantastic:)!!!
Is it okay with you Saratoga if I could save that picture on my pc, so I can look back on it later?
Cheers,
Ben.

No worries Ben...that's fine...and thanks for asking.

Beautiful! I love Copperheads. Probably a tie between them and Red Belly Blacks in my books. Both beautiful snakes and always a thrill to see them in the wild. Nice pics, thanks for sharing.

I'll try and dig out some Pygmy Copperhead shots for you...found a few on Kangaroo Island earlier in the year

great pics saratoga, as usual. Now that i have a camera i got to head out with you one day for sure.
