Hello. I have message the epa and gov emails and all. Everytime ive been told i am not alowed to own a D'Albertis' python. But i jave co.e accross people who breed them in qld and are alowed to sell them
He isbeen cheaked and told he is alowed to own,breed and sell the python


I seriously want to own one. Just 1. But dont want to get into trouble for owning one.

Whats the go. Can i own one or not?

They probably say u can’t keep them because it’s not a native species (or they’re too stupid to recognise them as a northern white lip python), they’re found in New Guinea, however have been kept and bred in Australia for a long time and are part of the licensing system!
