Diamond advice

I am thinking of getting a northern diamond for my second snake. I currently have a spotted python and live in Brisbane. Does any one have any advice on them such as special needs, temperaments, general pros and cons. Any advice of thoughts would be appreciated

Husbandry is as for mid-north coast Morelia spilota natural intergrade rather than for Diamond Python.

No such thing as a northern Diamond... Diamond Pythons are the most southerly python in the world.

Diamond pythons are found in southern coastal regions of New South Wales and Victoria.
