hey,

Was just curious about the heating for diamonds...
I have 2 6month old diamond pythons and was just woundering what temperatures I should have them at, they are feeding well and are in a 6ft tank but I have a divider in it to seperate the 2 till their older.

But I really want to know how to heat them.

At that age I would be heating them 24/7 through winter and into the beginning of spring. Temps around 32-33 at the hot spot, low to mid 20's at the cool end.

Just in case you have heard that diamonds need to be kept cooler, this refers essentially to adult snakes. They need similar basking temperatures but do require greater access to cool temperatures than other members of the carpet snake clan. This is only something you need to take into account if you intend to keep them indoors as adults.
