Diamond python hatchling

Hi guys, I’m thinking about getting a hatchling in the next few weeks and I’ve never had a hatchling before only adopted an adult jungle pyrhon, the hatchling is a diamond python and I just would like to know the do’s and don’t of Raising a hatchling as I can’t really find specific information on hatchlings. What size enclosure do I use and how do I heat it and how much heat etc. also I’m in SA and you can have one animal without a permit but for a second you need a permit I believe, is this the case and if so where can I apply and what are the costs involved? Any help is greatly appreciated and I know this question probably gets asked heaps but I just want my new hatchy to thrive!
