DIAMOND PYTHON HELP
My python is coming out of hibernation and we have notices a few red scales on his belly. He hasn't shed for a while but im not sure whats going on.
We gave him a dip in a luke warm bath today and that the drips in the photo is bath water. Can someone help??

A little loose but not that they would come off. It seemed to annoy him when I touched it.

It looks like scale rot, caused by damp of dirty substrate. Is the snake kept in a damp environment - I notice the snake is wet in the photo? You should keep it as dry as possible, especially while this persists. There is a lot of inflammation in the surrounding tissue, which probably needs antibiotic treatment fairly urgently, so I would get the animal to a reptile savvy vet asap, and look at your husbandry practices.

It looks like it's coming up for a shed now, but I'd get it to a vet for systemic treatment before it gets any worse.
