dog/cat food for pogona henrylawsoni?

Hi,

I have one adult and one juvie dwarf bearded dragon. At the moment they eat about 60% crickets and 40% vegies. I've read on a few overseas sites saying you can feed them dog and cat food with their vegies, but I havent found anything on any local (Australian websites). So i thought i'd ask you all, can you feed dog or cat food to pogona's and is it any good for them or just a treat?

Some do, most don't recommend it, personally I don't think my pygmies would be interested in it as it doesn't run around like woodies do. As for the nutrient value of dog or cat food, I would be very careful of the salt content (you want as low as possible). I would keep it as a treat if you decide to offer it. But wait and see what the general consensus is
