Email Notifications

Hi, sorry if this is a stupid question with an answer already in my face.

I have just come back and thought I'd give APS a go with all the new changes. Excited to be back in a funny way.

As soon as I did anything I'm getting an email inbox fully of crap I don't want. I don't want to block APS entirely, but I don't want an email every time anything happens. Where can I customise email notifications?

Hover the mouse over your user name top right, and select alert preferences.

Hey man, just press 'Alerts' in the top right when you are logged into this site, then 'Alert Preferences', select 'preferences' the left side, on this page just untick the boxes which say 'and receive email notifications of replies'

Honestly, I just had a fiddle and it looks like this should do the job -if you haven't already tried yet. Anyways welcome back

That turns the alerts completely off, but I was hoping just to stop the emails being sent while still showing the alerts when I logged in here.

No big deal, I can just turn it all off completely.
