How haunting is this......I just finished watching the movie ROGUE, then I see this here. But of course crocs in real life don't quite behave like "Rogue" did.....or do they?

Why does it surprise anyone ....crocs are known for watching ..when we travelled around the 1st thing we were told by the rangers was never to repeat the same thing around the waters edge...obviously the poor bugger was keeping an eye on his crab pots on a regular walk down to the river ...he was more then likely been watched for a while and alas BANG! crocs may not be the fastest animal once out on land but near a rivers edge you got no chance if its aimed you up ....hope they dont go on a hunt now to kill the "man eating croc" as it was simply human error......:( sad for the bloke and his missus and family... truth be told he may not be dead yet ,the croc could have him stored in one of his lairs........got told about a Darwin school teacher ,she was washing her hands at the waters edge, and was snapped on the head, dragged in the water, and was spun in a death roll, she gave up fighting, and woke up in a lair ,the smell was what woke her up as she was quoted saying it was the most putrid offensive smell she had ever experienced, her nightmare wasnt over at that point as it was pitch black, tree roots was all she could feel and she thinks it was rotting carcas , she contemplated on just waiting out for the crocs return but decided she was gonna die so she may as well give it a go ..she said she went under water and swam as far as she could feeling her way ,she noticed the light and swam up towards it and managed to get herself out of the water and help ..she had severe head wounds and a busted collarbone BUT SHE SURVIVED.... now thats a scary situation ...more then that so called RH letting inland taipans with no heat bite him!

I feel for the man's family, but this then means there's going to be an all out croc hunt
