Hello. I got home from work today, and found a tiger snake ontop of my rat rack. It had killed 2 of my female rats. Would it be safe to feed them off to my Bredli or BHP? It seems a shame to waste them.
Thank You.

I wonder why it killed them but didn't eat them? o_O

There was a wire mesh over the tubs. They would have tried to attack the snake through the wire, and I guess the snake bit its paws or nose.

What did you do with the tiger snake? :) Venom travels through the lymph fatty system under the skin, and some argue through the veins. Theoretically it would be safe to feed the rats off but only if your animals are flawless inside, which is unlikely since all animals get nicks and stuff in their stomach lining and their intestine. I wouldn't risk it.

I wouldn't. Even if I couldn't see any bite marks on your rats. Never hurt anyone being careful.
