Feeding Habits

Hey guys my bredli has this weird habit that when he constricts the rat he'll keep it in the same position, not moving a muscle for about 15 mins until it's ice cold before he starts eating it, does anyone else's animals do this?

My big Bredli does it with chicken necks....won't.move a muscle for about 10mins then decides to eat it cold...he just girls it with his teeth and body!

my jungle does that but my spottie strikes, constricts for about a mintue then swallows it.
