Finally got my first reptile

    well after enough annoying post i finally got my first reptile, i can assure you it will get sick of me before i get sick of him. cant believe how scared i am of him but give it time im getting gamer.

    Just say to yourself over and over: "I do not look like a mouse"

    .....unless of course you do.

    Be confident, don't startle him/her and let them taste your scent before trying to pick them up.

    only the first time take him out of his click clack then he never snaps again.

    Really? And you can't stop yourself from shaking?
    I have an involuntary jerk back reaction every time I'm bitten...which isn't good because I would try to stop a juvenille from biting by letting it now that it won't get a reaction..which obviously it does.
    Congratulations on your first snake! Looks beautiful.

    Yeah they can be real addictive!!!! I got my first on New years Eve - A spotted Python named Rey and then only 2 nights ago I bought a juvie carpet and named it Cena....
