This first attempt had a lot of ups and downs. Good locks, great ovulation, healthy eggs that went almost all the way but in the end only 1 hatched, the rest died fully developed in the eggs. The one that did survive is beautiful though. Now we are working on getting it feeding. Pics are as follows;
Dam, sire, eggs, lost babies, survivor pre shed, survivor post shed.

Not 100% sure, we had some incubation issues, temp was a little high, humidity was a little high, had some mold issues. I suppose it could have been any of them that caused it.

That's a shame, definitely a learning experience! can't wait to breed my pair :D Picking up an already made DIY incubator in next 2 weeks

The survivor is definitely a cracker

Very sad to lose them like that. You had incubation issues but how high were temps, how long and at what stage of embryo development? High humidity should not be a problem. Do you have photos of mould?
I had some high temps briefly due to an air conditioner problem late in embryo development and the only effect was hatching a few days early but all were healthy.

Damn that sux .. better one than none i spose.. im currently pairing mine , no definitive lock ups yet but is looking promising the female is very excited leaving blood trails and tail wriggling to the max haha.. hope my boy gets goin !!
[doublepost=1561168211,1561168116][/doublepost]My first attempt breeding this stunning locality also!

Temps hovered in the mid 89 to 90's. Humidity was 87-89. Had axwet spot form on one around day 20 so I dropped the humidity to 87 for a few days. Wet spot went away so I closed the lid again and it went up to 93%. About day 45 I noticed some white fuzzy stuff (guessing it was mold) that would not brush off with a q tip. I tried foot powder and dropped humidity to 90%. On day 60 1 pipped, by day 62 it was out of the egg and the rest were starting to smell bad.

Thats ashame about the other hatchies, but things like that happen, and u will learn from that. Alot of ppl only mention the good things,gravid female-eggs-hatchies and not many mention the bad times..
