Hi thanks to all the people who gave us advice on how to care for the eggs 11 of them hatched this was a accident we did not intend to breed them anyways I have a question

what age can I sell them at?

How much are they worth ?
there father was a coastal and there mother was a Bredli x carpet python they have stripes on them

when can I start handling them?
Thanks so much

Basic/Specialist lisence: 6 months.
Dealers Permit: Is it 1 month? I'm not sure....
Congrats ! And piccies are a must :D

Start handling when they have all shed and are STRONGLY feeding! You should leave them alone until this is happening. (Aka, don't stare at them :p)
To make more clear my above post.
On a 'standard' lisence you have to hold the animal for 6 months.
On a dealers you can sell as soon as you think they are good to go. (Dealers permits cost $900 though...)
Sell them to what you think is right, without pics it is hard to tell. I'd say $100-$150 for 'average' hatchies :?

I thought animals that had been bred were not subject to the 6 month holding clause?

oh, and what do you mean by stripes?

The 6 month rule doesn't apply to animals you've bred yourself, so they can be sold as soon as feeding well if need be.

Honestly I wouldn't be asking more than $50 for them due to them being crossbreds - or perhaps you can give some away as pets to some new but enthusiastic younger keepers? ( on the premises they aren't to be bred from again?)

Also would love to see pics, would be interested in purchasing one as a pet when ready to go if i live close.

This sound exactly like what we are gonna do next year. That is unless we won't have "red" jcp's. As far as I know there is nobody in the states doing it all the time. I'm sure N.E.R.D. or Seigle has done it but I'm not sure how many others. Even if its worth it.
