If your up for a close up experiance of Crocodiles,
Hartleys Crocodile Adventure park is for you. This place is designed to get you up close to crocs, including a boat ride through the grounds, getting them to leap from the water next to the boat feeding them.
Ive had enough close up with crocs so I will stick to picks of other herps.

As this animal park is mainly about Crocs, there wasnt much other reptiles there.
Here are a few pics anyway.
Pic 1 & 2/ Red Bellied Black Snake, 3 & 4/ Mertens Water Monitor 5/ Northern Death Adder.

I have been to Hartleys. Its a great wildlife park. Very interesting to see how they set up their crocodile breeding business.

Did you attend the snake show? Last time i was there, the bloke brought out a beautiful black headed python. Needless to say, i was no longer in doubt as to what my next snake was going to be.

Ended up tallking to the bloke after the show about reptiles, husbandry, buying, breeding, etc. Very nice people working there. He hooked me up with the details of the park owner, who had just bred a clutch of BHP. Turns out that he had already sold them all to a reptile shop in ballarat.

I highly recommend that anyone up in the Cairns region have a look.
