I am in Mlebourne, VIC.

This is only the second (possibly the same damn frog) of these little fellas I have ever seen... any help would be appreciated, I'm not a froggy person.

Sorry about the pics, I am not the best photographer, nor do I have a great camera.

Thanks.

Its a bango frog. The exact species depends on your location.

Its a morphling (baby frog). They get to a reasonable size by adulthood.

They are a land frog, so cannot climb trees.

Argh.. Sassy, you should take a look at the link provided

Hi all,

The top frogs are Limnodynates dumerilli insularis, you also get L.d. variegata and L. D. dumerilli in Victoria too, as well as the possiblity of L.d. fryi.

Matt,
Thats Limnodynastes terrireginae

I like the photos on frogs .org...lol

Cheers,
Scott

I think I have got the hang of IDing frogs now... was a little confusing at first.

Here are some more pics, of another banjo frog, more colourful this time, and what I believe to be Lit. ewingi

The first two ewingi pics are of a smaller and younger specimen... Here are some of an older one, I assume to be full adult size? Correct me if I am wrong.
