This may sound stupid but I'm just wondering how long u can keep mice in the freezer for?
I bought my diamond hatchie home about a month ago with 5 velvet mice (thrown in with the snake) as soon as I got her home she started to shed... 3 weeks went by until she finally shed and after a week I tried my first feed, but To no avail. I'm going to give it another try next week with no handling until then. But my question is, how long can I keep my mice frozen? A few months or so?

people say as long as you can keep normal meat... but im a vegetarian so i have no idea =/ i have mice that have been in the freezer for a couple of months though

6 months is the general rule,

i keep loose icecubes in with my rodents so i can see if theres been a partial thaw at any stage,...i guess it depends a bit on ur freezer/seals etc,...ive had some fro over 6 months that were still ok,...
