Bought this guy last year as part of a pair of S. wellingtonae but I've been a bit dubious as to whether or not it really is. It doesn't help that it has a regenerated tail...

What do you think? Sorry about the crappy photo

Seems like the best fit. They look similar although all the photos I've seen of S. intermedius seem to have orange rims to their eyes. You can't tell from the photo but this guy has completely grey eyes.

Guess I won't be breeding the pair

Ok, here are a couple more pics. The battery has gone flat on my camera so I'll try and get some better ones tomorrow

how many rows of spines does the gecko that is questionable have down its tail? might be hard being a regen tail though.

Looks like the start of 2 rows at the base of it's tail, then it's random where the regenerated tail starts

What's making you question it?? Any particular feature??

Just because there's a fair difference in colour and pattern between the 2, along with the fact that the pair came from a gentleman who liked Piranha's... I don't want to breed a pair of animals if they're not really a pair
