Found this Gecko when I was in Darwin in September.

Not entirely sure what this little bugger is specifically .

It's an Asian House Gecko

Agreed. Hemidactylus frenatus. The spines along the edge of the tail combined with expanded, ovoid shaped toe pads and the claw coming out the top. A close up of the digits would reveal a claw on each one.
