That is a generalization. It would be better to base breed judgements on more than one snake. Any breed of snake can have variable temperaments, however because jags are crossbred the more diverse genetic background can increase the range of possible behaviors exhibited. Jags produced from GTPs could have similar behavior to those produced from other crosses.

True, I couldn't agree more. I guess we shouldn't judge jags for a 'few' (quite a few) individual snakes and their grumpy temperament. Eventually with handling we can tame them out. The same with GTPs, I've seen grumpy ones on Snakebytestv yet some people I know who own them have quite docile ones. Maybe one day we can breed out a really placid and docile bunch of jags. :D

Like I have said before. I'd ignore everything people say about temprement because every snake is different in how well it tolerates human interaction. I have heard countless times that Darwins are disgustingly bad mannered. But mine is an angel, (even though shes not eating atm >_>) All it comes down to is what YOU want. You want a jungle? Get it. You want a scrubbie? Get it get what YOU want, every snake is different

Thanks Beans. I like jungles and darwins, but I can't get either now. But I'll keep your advice in mind...

All good.

Just remember. It comes down to personal choice. Every snake is different.
