Im having alot of problems w/ Dino the Tegu. He is very aggressive. I have been working w/ him trying to tame him for months. It has not worked. It is very rare for a Tegu to be this aggressive, but he is very dominate and I live in his world. The other day he split my finger open. Since I have 2 children I have made the decision w/ a heavy heart to find him another home. Gratefully the top Tegu breeder here in America has offered to take him in. I will get a hatchling from him. I think that is the best decision. Im really upset but I have to do whats best for everyone.

Hard decision to make, very lucky to find him a good home though and get a hatchy out of it

basically, it's illegal to keep ANY snake not native to Australia, unless you have some special permits, usually only relegated to zoos and such.

Wow, absolutely amazing collection of reptiles you've got there - especially the boas. Your house must be like a jungle with so many critters all over the place

wow..I dont know if that good or bad..Boas are so rewarding..I love all of mine.


I have 2 herp rooms..one for the snakes and one for the lizards..the cyclura and tegu will be free roaming

When I actually make the LONG plane ride to Australia I doubt I will ever come back..lol...but I guess I cant bring my Boas w/ me

WOW u have an AMAZING collection..Im green w/ envy..U're snakes ARE better..lol...we dont have Boas here..well some in FL..I just collect them..most of my BCC are highly endangered or like the Caulker Cay is said to be extinct in the Cays..Im proud to have them..But Aussie snakes ROCK!
