Habistat problem...

The habistat I got off ebay arrived today, funnily enough it uses the UK power socket and plug..didn't see that coming. Don't suppose there is anywhere I could get a double adapter that corrects this problem? :?

You will definitely be able to mate, back to eBay, assuming there is no rush.

If there is a rush- Bunnings defenately had converters, not to sure about double adapter converters tho.

Go to just about any bag/luggage shop. Most will have a whole stand of international adapters. Where me and most folks get them for travels...

International adapters ar on eBay for $1 each....my dad buys them and has had the same ones for about 3 years, haven't failed yet

Take them to an appliance repair place and they will change the plugs for next to nothing. I don't trust adapters too much. A bad connection creates heat that can end badly. Adapters are fine for travel and short term solutions.

For a bloke to walk into a handbag shop & ask for an "adapter" is surely gonna raise some eyebrows. :?
