Hiya,

I was having a cuddle with my children's python this afternoon and I noticed that her cloaca had a dark colour to it. Closer inspection and there are the round, almost egg like things under the opening. They couldn't have been there any longer than a month.. She hasn't eaten in a couple of months.. Which is not abnormal for her. She has never been a big eater and even less in winter. I'm wondering now though if the two are related. She is shedding well and seems otherwise healthy. Will take her to a vet to be on the safe side, but does anyone know what I might be looking at?

Can't say I have noticed anything quite like that before.
It may be nothing and hopefully someone will come along with a simple explanation but I would be cross referencing against pics in vet publications.
