what should I put under the heat cord to get better heat? Also is this pattern tight enough? It’s a 1.5m cord on a 45x45~cm tanks

As it is, it’s a 15w cable and doesnt even reach 30°c like this(mind u the concrete floor doesn’t help)

Thanks I’m thinking styrofoam or a thin piece of wood to sit between cable and the surface tank sits on

Edit: ignore the tape haha.. I can always change it
 
Where are you putting the tank once it’s set up? Ie. what will be under it
If it’s not going to be staying on the concrete then a piece of wood will be fine. If it’s going to stay on the concrete you will need more insulation underneath.
And go 2cm spacing.

I’ll be putting it on some sort of wood like a chest of drawers or something
