HeAting and lighting :)

Hey guys, I just have a quick question as far as heating and lighting goes for my 7 month old jungle python. I leave mine on 24/7. Though, I know alot of others who also turn them off (dim) during the night. What would be the best option for a 7 month old jungle at this time? Because i know how important heating is at this time. Would it be okay If I left it on for 12 hours of day/12 hours night. Or best kept on for 24/7. Thanks, any advice would be greatly appreciated

Depends where you are, I keep the heat on 24/7 because it gets v cold here in Adelaide especially at night. Also depends what you are using as a heat source, obviously you can't run a visible heat lamp at night as you won't have a suitable photo period.
