My name is Lisa and i have been an avid reptile lover since i was a toddler when i found my first Copperhead snake and picked it up and kissed it.... I was extremely lucky not to have been bitten.(but did give my dad a heartattack tho)....
I am a registered wildlife carer and specialise in non venomous reptiles and amphibians. I have handled everything from gheckos to Perentie moniters, pygmy pythons to Boa constrictors, death adders to Mulgas and even a couple of young crocs. (I worked in a reptile park for 5 years). I have been bitten by a few moniters, a Dugite and a Tiger snake over the years but i have never been bitten by a python... (i am sure it will happen one day)
I currently own a 7 yr old male BHP that measures in at 8 foot and weighs approx 6.5kg. I recently sold a breeding pair of Stimsons...
Well that is my basic intro and i am happy to be apart of this wonderful Forum...:D

Hi Lisa, welcome :)

Are you allowed to have a BHP in WA?

gotta take some new pics of my boy as the only ones i have are when he was 6ft long or shorter and yes you can keep BHP's in WA with a license.

Hi and welcome! :p

ive been bitten by my pythons a fair few times, i think i prefer that to monitors or vens, u should try it some time! ;P
