She is still very young beast.

They are my Dwarf lancehead Vipers(Ovophis okinavensis ) . They got quite mean look.

Oh and also are the false cobra's venomous? Got any hood shots? Love that Viper

here it is! He spreads his hood.:lol: Oh, sorry! He gots a CD on his neck. What is he doing there. He is a funny thing and very gentle. he forgot being wild. I have never seen when he spread his neck.
They are venomous, however my false cobra is good old man. Never tried to bite me.

Awesome snakes godspeed. In Japan do you have to have a licence to keep venomous snakes? Do you breed snakes? Are they sold in pet stores there or do have to buy from a breeder? Does Japan have a native venomous snake?

Keeping venomus snakes are illegal in Japan.
So I keep them somewhere hide. Some people keep them, too secretly.

i don`t breed venomous snakes. I just enjoy feeding.

I used to keep some of snakes comes from Japna. There are several vipers in wild Japan. But number of Austrarian venomous snakes are... speechless... My country is too small and a island.

hey there godspeed, y girlfriend just spent a year in toyama and in osaka teaching for NOVA.

Your southern pine snake is amazing.

I was trekking the three peaks near iwakuni (love the albino snakes there) and saw numerous small brown snakes wild in the forest there. Well camouflaged and hard to see with viperish type heads (triangular).

Got any ideas as to what they were??

Tried to catch them, but thought better of it.
