My wife is fine with mice in the fridge as long as I don't kill them (WTF..."no really honey, they loooked fine yesterday...I guess their time was up") and I don't get a snake - so your all ready ahead of me :wink:.

I am sure there are lots of people here willing to give you (different) advice about setting your enclosure up.

I am also sure that there are a couple of other members of this site from Lismore also so you might meet some fellow herpers that are close enough to give you a helping hand.

well well well,, we've got another lismoron... i myself have lived in lismore for the past 18 years... moved out to rockvalley at the start of the year... and you mandy are the first lismore herper i have met!!! did you know we have a reptile and amphibian group in lismore... i'm not a member yet but i'm getting there..
so what kinda reptiles have you got? i've got four beardies and a bredli.. hope to get some more lizards after chrissy.. if your interested your mum could bring you sometime... i dont handle my snake very often but if you wanted to give it a go it would be fine...
so what school do you go to i'd say you'd either go to richmond river or trinity.. oh and if you dont mind me asking where are you located east, south or north lismore or goonellabah? pm me if you dont want to put it on a public forum...

good to meet you... we'll have to catch up one day..

oh and also mandy if you go into dj's pet shop (next to red rooster) they have a 2ft ($145 i think) reptile enclosure they can also get them in 4ft about ($200).. but in my opinion you could make one cheaper and it woulld look nicer too... but if you want something to have a look at to get some ideas then theres that one... also the other pet shop here.. pets and saddles i think its called... they have reptile lids that they can make to fit to fish tanks... its basically a frame with wire on it but once again if you want some thing to get some ideas off they are there...

I was a Lismore girl too went to richmond river high, lived up in goonellabah you" have to get a baby Bredli I've had one now for 10 months and boy is she growing and she is sooo cute her name is Mollie Bredli you will be able to grow with her, and it wont take long for her to grow big. We keep the mice and rats in Ice cream containers Labelled, so if any one goes to our freezer we just say you can't have the choc-chip ice-cream... Also got a cousin lives at rockvalley been a while since I have been there though you should join a herp society up there and I'm sure someone there would help you to set up an enclosure. I really liked living in Lismore what's wrong with the place? we used to get time off school when richmond river high flooded, used to wag school and go to the pool hall up star bowl arcade is it still there? good luck Bronwyn..

i finished school in year 10 retilegirl. and just started working at Citybeach. so if your ever around, pop in and see if im there

i used to have a bluetongue and a couple bearded dragons. thats all i can remember ive owned. but im pretty much only into snakes now. (though i would like a land mullet, those r rad!)

umm ohhh i did so not know dj's had reptile stuff. i'll def have a look in there sometime, thanks for that hun

and i actually live in broadwater, wich is even more of a joke HAHAHA.

i just hate it around here, coz im a real city girl. from sdneyyyyy, so coming from there to here, is a bit un-exciting and i hate how theres nowhere if you are looking for a certain brand or whatever...its just so small even with the new shopping centre

i happened to be in DJ's getting some rats when i spotted the enclosure.. its only new cos i go to dj's at least once a week (if not more) and that was the first time i saw it.... check it out... you'll be suprised at the other types of reptile stuff they have..

hahaha we're the opposite then... i'm a country girl all the way... hate big cities... too much grey and not enough green...
i know what you mean about the lack of shops... but its ok we got byron and ballina and the gold coast isnt tooo far away..
Far North Coast of NSW is IMO the BEST place to live in the world.. (mind you its the only place i've ever lived)
