Heya all,

Sorry to be a bother but I am going insane listening to this skink living in my roof, whats the best way to evict this freeloader?

I know where it gets in however I can never catch it outside because it scuttles its way back in before I can do anything.

Thanks,

Shaun

If you know how it gets in, next time you see far enough away from entry ( block the "hole" ).
Persumeably it's going up the down pipes .

The skink is doing you a favour by catching and eating pest insects , think of it as a live-in pest exterminator. There wont be any mice or birds living in your roof space while it's in residence.

Personally, I think you should make the best of having a resident skink living in your roof or simply encourage it to move out (if you want it gone) but leaving food for it to find each time it comes out , and progressively move the food source further away over time to somewhere that you can provide a habitat area for it.
