just a quick question, i want to get involved with a herpetological or reptile society but the closest one to me the australian herpetological society seems to have disappeared? sites out dated and all links revert back to home screen. any one know whats going on? or knows of a society in sydney/close to Maroubra?

thanks in advance.

Don't forget tonight, there will be some great herp book raffle prizes again as well as some heavily discounted copies ($40) of the complete carpet python (all proceeds going to the society). All welcome, we would like to see as many new faces as possible.

There is still a few places left on this weekends and next weekends Smith's Lake Herpetological Survey Field Trips. Last year we found an impressive list, but you must be a financial member to attend for insurance and scientific licence purposes.

I am now a proud member! : Just waiting for my card, think the gentleman said he'd send it to me (forgot his name :s). anyway, they said to go on the trips you need to be a financial member. is that what i purchased? 33 dollars for membership and herpetofauna?
