Well, I'm back from about an hour's Herping with a couple of mates. It was awesome to see the Blackheads, a Stimons & a little brown snake we didn't get close enough to see what it was.

The saddest thing was looking at one of the BHPs- black scar like areas & missing scales. This snake actually looked like it had been dragged along the bitumen at some stage recently. Any ideas as to what causes this?
 
Lol... We got back & Chris said about wishing he'd got a picture of one of the BHPs & I realised I had forgotten the camera. Ah well... Always another time. Both BHPs were about 1.5m long, with one looking skinny (to me) with the other a little better in condition, but that might have been due to possible swelling from the damage it displayed.
