My blue tongue female laid 13 eggs awhile ago.I have them incubating at the moment and expect them to hatch within the next few days.I am desperately seeking homes for them. They are for free for fellow APS members. Please leave a post if interested.

Aww you guys are no fun lol!
Ill have 3 by the way as soon as they hatch.

Nice try Chronditis... APS members aren't that silly :p

Nooo.
This species was discovered by AD Koning.
Varanus Giganteus Sciaenochromis Ahli.
Also known as the gigantic electric blue tongue.

But they are illegal in Australia Being endemic to Lake Tanganyika which also makes them a water dragon needing a Huuuuuuge water bowl! Ooops sorry, I should have said endemic to Lake Malawi not Tanganyika as the S. Ahli Maximus Dragonus is not a Tanganyikan.

I'd like to take some more this year but the last lot are still in the freezer and my Greek Olives will only eat them when they're stoned (or is it pitted). You could ask Almaron - he'd be willing to pick them up in person I'm sure especially if they are the true electric blue.

Electric blue tongues? Reminds me of this one time at band camp......

Electric blues eh?
Wonder what they would taste like sunny side up with green ham?
M...
