i recieved an email today from NPWS in NSW
i sent them one after reading the overrated/underrated snakes/

it reads

Scott,

The records for these species in 2002 were:
- Green tree pythons (66)
- Perente Monitor (0)
- Scrub Pythons (64)

Licensing Officer
Wildlife Licensing


funny hey, no Perente monitors in NSW
 
I think there would be several more this year seen as that survey covers only the year 2002.Many would have bred this season just past surely!
 
ummmm RK,
You do realise ya need a class 5 unrestricted licence or a 1 day interim private zoo licence permit to keep them as they are a venomous species dont you? just ask Puff he told me lol maybe he was confuzzled with a black mamba lung fish! :lol: :lol:
